20) Why have Aviva appointed Nick Dumbreck as an Independent expert?

Aviva has appointed Nick Dumbreck, a consulting actuary at Milliman, as an Independent Expert. His role is to safeguard the interests of policyholders by examining in great detail the formal proposals put forward for the fund transfer and reattribution. He has prepared an in depth report defining how the benefits and security of the policyholders will be safeguarded, and submit this to the High Court for its consideration.
