18) How will my policy be affected?
The reattribution forms part of a proposed reorganisation of Aviva's companies. If the reorganisation goes ahead, your policy will be transferred from the with-profits fund of CGNU Life Assurance Limited and/or Commercial Union Life Assurance Company Limited into the with-profits fund of Aviva Life & Pensions Limited. This will not affect your policy benefits and your investment will remain secure. In addition to Clare's appointment as policyholder advocate, Aviva is also required to appoint an Independent Expert to examine the proposed reorganisation and ensure that it does not adversely affect policyholders' security and benefit expectations.
