The Independent Expert's Report
This section of the website provides a link to the report from the independent expert, Nick Dumbreck. Mr Dumbreck is responsible for assessing the impact on policyholders’ normal benefits of the reattribution and fund transfer (the ‘Scheme’, see below) for the High Court.

The Scheme
Links are provided to a copy of the Aviva ‘Scheme’. In order to initiate a fund transfer under Part VII of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 a ‘Scheme’ needs to be drawn up to set out in detail the basis of the fund transfer and the reattribution.

The Actuarial Function Holder's Report
The report of the Actuarial Function Holder (AFH) may be found by following this link. The AFH is an employee of the company and may be a member of the governing bodies he advises. The primary role of the AFH is to consider whether the obligations the company has to policyholders can be met now and in the future, while ensuring that the company appreciates the implications for fairness and the reasonable expectations of its policyholders.

The With-profits Actuary's Report
